bold and italic text. What is the internet?
User- A user is a person who uses a computer or network service
Browser- A browser is an application used to acess the world wide web

A network is defined as a group of two or more computer systems linked together. There are some computer networks, including the following.:
local-area networks (LANs)
wide-area networks (WANs)
A Web server is a program that uses HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) to serve the files that form Web pages to users, in response to their requests, which are forwarded by their computers' HTTP clients.

Our Tawa College Website http://e2learn.school.nz/#cm_submenu_11 is located in the bay of plenty- Tauranga.
All the files for this website are sorted on a webhost server
What is a packet?- A packet is a piece of a message transmitted over a packet-switching network, In IP networks, packets are often called datagrams.
How does a Packet work?- On the Internet, the network breaks an e-mail message into parts of a certain size in bytes. The packets carry the data in the protocols that the Internet uses.
What is a Router?-A Router is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks. Routers perform the traffic directing functions on the Internet.
What is lans (local Area Network)-A local area network (LAN) is a computer network that interconnects computers within a limited area such as a residence, school, laboratory, university campus or office building
How does LANs work?-Local Area Network (LAN) - A LAN is a network of computers that are in the same general physical location, usually within a building or a campus. If the computers are far apart (such as across town or in different cities), then a Wide Area Network (WAN) is typically used.
What is WAN ( Wide Area Network)-A wide area network (WAN) is a geographically distributed private telecommunications network that interconnects multiple local area networks (LANs). In an enterprise, a WAN may consist of connections to a company's headquarters, branch offices, colocation facilities, cloud services and other facilities.
How does WAN work?-A Wide Area Network (WAN), as its name indicates, is designed to enable computer users to communicate and collaborate over a wide geographic area. Today, WANs are most often used by multi-site businesses to interconnect Local Area Networks (LANs) at offices in various locations.
